Mr. and Mrs. Bush had certain recommendations for placement although they found this difficult to say and did not specifically specify that the children should be placed together or in pairs but that it was up to the agency and Mr. Seabrook to use his discretion in properly placing these children. She said it was a possibility that Shirley and John might well have a successful placement together but that Dick and John together was a little hard for her to fathom in that she felt that Dick might inhibit John in that he tends to be more bossy and rules the other children. They both stated that seeing them together or knowing them all together and knowing how they fight and get along, it is impossible to actually distinguish the children and individualize the children and pull them out separately and try to put them back together in pairs, that this is hard for them to do at this point knowing them as a unit as they do now.
The children were brought in at the end of the three hour interview and said goodbye to their parents and stated they would be good. One noticeable fact about this goodbye scene was that all the children came in and rushed to Mrs. Bush first who seemed to be suffering far less over this than Mr. Bush. She had to tell them to go say goodbye to Mr. Bush. The children did not cry much in that they were excited about the toys they were playing with and said goodbye and that they would be good and that if they wanted to they could get in contact through Mr. Seabrook with Mr. and Mrs. Bush.
